Cavebot bug?

When cavebotting (for example walking from node A to B) the bot randomly stops and looks in one direction (as if Ctrl + ^) for a short moment then proceeds.
I've also noticed atleast one random person botting getting this when going to DP.
(also occurs when im trying out my script and just watching the cavebot, i.e not using the computer meanwhile)

What could be the cause of this?

Hello.

This is common in two cases:
1. The game client on which server you are playing has an option to walk through WASD and that option is enabled. So Cavebot is using CTRL+W to clear the status message, but the game-client is interpreting this as a Turn, because the W has become a walk to north.
2. You have disabled "Maps-clicks only", so the Bot sends arrow keys, but maybe you are pressing CTRL and the game client interprets with TURN instead of walk. In this case, you should not press CTRL.
