I set targeting to strike because I need to avoid a diagonal spell that a monster has. But it doesnt "face" monster. I dont even need to actually face monster and use exori vis, I just need to avoid being diagonal to him. Any tips on how to achive this?

Use Approach stance, it will stand in diagonal.
