Looting and eating not working
#1
Hello,

I've tried enabling auto eat in option, eat food from dead corpse and added meat as item to loot.
But none of the above seems to work.

Eating from corpse does not work.
Looting in general does not work, I tried to add my backpacks item id as destination without success.

Anyone experience the same issue?

Hello.

I'm 100% sure that it's working fine.

Options->Eat Food eats foods from time to time (randomly). It should not be used to eat food from dead bodies, there's an option (Looter->Eat food from dead corpses) on Looter to do that. However, it will only eat if it fill the Looter's conditions.

For example, if you are using Looter->Condition->Loot targeteds only, it will only loot and eat food if the Targeting attacks that monster.
If you are manually hunting or so, you should use "Looter->Loot all open containers".

If you add meat to Loot list, it will not eat the meats, because it will loot those.

Depending on your goal, it's possible to make a LUA script to be used on Persistents or so to eat food, something like that:
local TRIES = { Min = 2, Max = 8 }
for k = 1, random(TRIES.Min, TRIES.Max) do
   eatfood()
   wait(200, 1000)
end

I had disabled Classic controls in Tibia options, changed back and now it all works like a charm!
