OTBots Forums - Requests

Everyone who has never used our Bots before, can test each one for 2 days without any limitation.
The trial is given automatically when you login on the Bot, but in some cases it wouldn't work (security reasons).
If this happens, send me a private message and i will be checking the failed trials manually and adding it for those who didn't get it.

Requests Rules / Guidelines

1. Don't be lazy!
Before making a request, search on our Forums (|Only Registered members can see download links. | Click here to buy subscription or here to register.) and on Bot -> Help -> LUA Scripts. Duplicated requests will not be answered and can be deleted without a warning.

2. Be clear and objective in your request, but don't omit details.
Because every detail is important when it comes to scripts. People think in different ways, believe me! So don't think they'll know what you're talking about or how you're thinking.

3. Make a thorough request.
Describe exactly what you want, what's your goal and possible limitations. For example: Asking for a script to count items and leave the cave seems obvious and simple, but there are several ways to count your items, such as counting the items that are sampled on current open bps but also reading the using hotkey messages (Using one of ...). So one way to request it would be: I'm hunting on a cave using many backpacks of UH, I need to start leaving when having 30 UHs or less, that means I cannot leave all BPs of UH open or could count only from last backpack. So I need a script to count the remaining UHs via the hotkeys message.
Of course, you may not know how something works or even the best ways to accomplish something, but by being clear with your request describing goals, etc. you will already be facilitating and the people who help you will be able to think of other better ways.

4. Don't be a child.
No one is obligated to help you, even if you offer payments. Your request can be answered in 5 minutes, 2 hours, 1 day or never. Someone with skills needs to WANT to donate (or sell, depending on your request) their time for you.
This means that no one from OTBots team or anyone else is obligated to help you, in any circumstance. But in most cases, Arkilys will always try to help!

5. Respect the rules / guidelines above
If you don't respect the above rules / guidelines, your thread can be ignored, closed or deleted without any warning.
These rules can be changed at any time, without notice or consent.
